Italian classes are in-person on Wednesdays or Thursdays from 6:30PM - 8:30PM.

Class Schedule

All classes must have a minimum of 8 students enrolled in order to commence

  • Course Duration: 10 Weeks

    • Thursdays, Starting January 20

    • 6:30PM - 8:30PM

    Course Level: Absolute Beginner. This course is designed for individuals with no prior knowledge of the Italian language.

    Course Instructor: Angela

    Course Description: Throughout the course, students will acquire foundational skills in Italian pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and essential grammar structures. By the course's conclusion, participants will be able to engage in simple conversations, introduce themselves, and comprehend basic written and spoken Italian. This program serves as an entry point for those looking to initiate their Italian language learning journey.

  • Course Duration: 10 Weeks

    • Wednesdays, Starting January 28

    • 6:30PM - 8:30PM

    Course Level: Beginner. Prerequisite - Beginner 1

    Course Instructor: Gianna

    Course Description: This level is ideal for students who have completed Beginner 1 or have some basic knowledge of Italian. In this course, you will expand your vocabulary and learn to navigate common everyday situations, such as ordering food at a café, asking for directions, and describing your daily routine. You will practice using regular and irregular verbs in the present tense, definite and indefinite articles, and simple sentence structures. By the end of the course, you will be able to introduce yourself more confidently, ask and answer simple questions, and engage in short conversations.

Instructor Biographies

Angela

Beginner 1 and 2 Instructor

Angela is originally from the Veneto region and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.

After several years working as a financial auditor and later as a supply chain professional in Parma, she moved to San Francisco in 2021. There, she continued her career in the supply chain, working in the automotive and beauty retail industries. At the same time, she pursued her passion for wine, earning her WSET Level 3 certification, and currently she is pursuing the WSET Diploma. 

Angela enjoys sharing her knowledge of the Italian language and culture and looks forward to supporting her students as they learn and discover more about Italy.
